This Friday marks the US (and UK) premier of Romeo & Juliet, adapted by Julian Fellowes and directed by Carlo Carlei.
Those familiar with the 1968 Franco Zeffirelli adaptation will be pleased to hear that, like the Zeffirelli version, the latest version also takes place in a traditional setting in Renaissance Verona.
However, the release of the previews has caused a bit of controversy (<-click to read more on this), as it appears that the film will not use Shakespeare's traditional dialogue, but will only follow the play's plot.
Check it out and see what you think. We're still looking forward to it.
