Our Revels Now Are Ended...

The Tempest On Tour reached 35 communities (30 schools, 5 public venues), with 28 performances and 58 adjoining educational activities, reaching over 8,000 people (7,551 children and 451 adults).

Sarah Carlson-Brown, Director of The Tempest, did a wonderful job with the adaptation. Thank you to the On Tour ensemble for a fantastic play, to all the venues that helped us load and unload, and to our audiences for a great reception.

Comments:

"I loved the Asian theme. It was a welcome change to Shakespeare. I also like how they incorporated the masks as the spirits. It facilitated the understanding of the transitions of the actors."
- EDUCATOR, Norfolk High School

"The students really enjoyed the workshops. It was fun to watch each class share what they learned with their classmates after the workshops. We feel very fortunate that you offer this experience to our kids. You all have amazing energy and really make it fun for them."
- EDUCATOR, Morton Middle School

"The performance was enjoyable, as it is every year. I am always stunned to see how the company effectively tells complex Shakespeare works. The actors were excellent."
- EDUCATOR, Lincoln Southeast High School

"Saw your production of The Tempest at Ralston High. I thought you guys were outstanding. Well-conceived and well-performed. I even teared up a little during the whole father/daughter scene at the beginning ☺ My students enjoyed the production as well. For many, it was their first exposure to Shakespeare, and your performance certainly allayed many of their fears. Great job!"
