Macbeth at Film Streams

Life . . . is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
William Shakespeare, Macbeth

December 11 - 24
Film Streams
Ruth Sokolof Theater
(1340 Mike Fahey Street)

Macbeth is the story of a fearless warrior and inspiring leader brought low by ambition and desire. A thrilling interpretation of the dramatic realities of the times and a re-imagining of what wartime must have been like for one of literature's most famous and compelling characters, a story of all-consuming passion and ambition set in war torn Scotland. The film stars Michael Fassbender in the title role and Marion Cotillard as Lady Macbeth.

Join us on Monday, December 21st at 6:30 PM
for a special screening of Macbeth
and a post-film discussion with
Vincent Carlson-Brown,

Shakespeare On The Green's 2016

for classic literature and/or promoting the arts across Nebraska. The Collective provides thoughtful and
meaningful volunteer opportunities to members, approximately 21- to 40-years-old, through
Shakespeare On The Green, while cultivating lifelong
relationships with the organization and arts.
