2016 marks 30 years of the magic and enrichment of Shakespeare in our community. Thanks to donations from our members, Nebraska Shakespeare has grown from a summer play in the park to a year-round entertainment and education program, serving 40,000 families, students and educators annually. To sustain this Nebraska tradition, we must ask for your continued support.
This summer, Shakespeare On The Green will be celebrating its 500,000th attendee and will present:

Along with the summer productions in the park, our other educational programs include Shakespeare On Tour and Camp Shakespeare. Both engage students in a fun, supportive environment that fulfills curriculum standards. Last October, Shakespeare On Tour reached 8,500 students and community members across the state; the students, teachers and parents loved it.
This fall, we are taking an abridged version of Hamlet to schools across Nebraska and Southwest Iowa to be staged specifically for 7,500+ middle and high school students. The tour includes educational workshops and supplemental materials for teachers that meet Nebraska’s Fine Arts Standards.
All of these amazing opportunities simply can’t happen without the generosity of people like you. To commemorate 30 years of Shakespeare in your community, please consider becoming a member and donating this anniversary year.
