For Twelfth Nightdirector Anthony Clark-Kaczmarek put an ultra-modern spin on his interpretation, channeling Dr. Seuss in both color and tone, that included recognizable music from the past decade.
"...infusing the bard's “Twelfth Night” with snippets of contemporary tunes worked like gangbusters at Nebraska Shakespeare's 27th opening night...the crowd of nearly 900 seemed to get a big charge out of it all."

Titus Andronicus was a premiere on the Shakespeare On The Green stage, having never been performed by NS in the past.  Enlisting classic silhouettes and architecture, Titus was produced traditionally in first Century Rome.

"This 'Titus' is heavy lifting — as it's meant to be. But its message about the endless cycle of revenge remains all too relevant today. Vincent Carlson-Brown and company give us something to bloody well think about." -Omaha World Herald

And on June 23, Shakespeare On The Green hosted its four-legged fans at Will's Best Friend Contest. Over 20 pets and owners turned out to compete in categories including best costume, tallest, shortest, most personality, and best behaved.

Denise and Michael Holloway, The Winners of the raffle to Chicago to see Chicago Shakespeare, were going to make a ten dollar donation and thought why not assign it toward the Chicago Raffle.

They are "simply delighted and very excited" about the Chicago Shakespeare Weekend Package. They promise to send photos.

Thank you for a great season!  Join us next year for Tempest and King John at Shakespeare On The Green 2014.
