In the fourth month of Shakespeare
my true love gave to me
Four Films to View

In it’s fourth season, Shakespeare On The Silverscreen is a month-long festival featuring films inspired by Shakespeare’s plays and post-show commentary by local scholars.

We're excited to debut this year's line up of films:

On February 20th, we'll be screening two of NET's Shakespeare Uncovered
seriesa further look into the work of Shakespeare and the stories that went
into their creation by actors familiar with the play.

On March 6th, see Prospero's Books, a film based on Shakespeare's The Tempest.

On March 13th, we'll screen Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead by Tom
Stoppard, based on characters from Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Each film will start at 6 PM and will be followed by commentary by members of Nebraska Shakespeare staff and local scholars.

Check out our window throughout December to see what each door holds and be sure to VOTE for your favorite window. And click HERE to learn more about the Nebraska Shakespeare Miracle On Farnam Doors.

The most miraculous display, determined by your votes, will earn a $3000 donation courtesy of the Alan and Marcia Baer Foundation, a philanthropic endeavor that generously supports various charities, including Nebraska arts and educational agencies.
